IM AA 1014 – Guest Relations Praktikum Native German Resort Mauritius

The student will work in the guest relations department and look after the German Guests.

Requirements / needs for Native German Speaking Students in Hospitality in Mauritius:

• Smart candidates
• Good Looking candidates
• Out Going candidates
• Good Communication Skills
• Good Relationship Skills
• Able to understand the German, Swiss, Austrian Customers
• Any degree is fine (not just hospitality) however it should be higher education
• Good English and of course German
• The candidate is, ideally, over 20
• Able to relate with the different departments in and outside of the hotel:

1. Guest relations officers
2. Concierge
3. F&B Department
4. Rooms Division
5. Tour Operators
6. Other external parties on the island

What is important is that the candidate not only knows how to deal with the guests in German & English, however just as important, it would be that he or she can relate to the concerned parties as described above, internally or externally, to be able to solve issues / matters quickly.

Der Student wird in der Gästeabteilung arbeiten und sich kümmern um die deutschen Gäste.

Anforderungen / Bedürfnisse für Native Deutsche Studenten in Hospitality in Mauritius :

• Smart-Kandidaten
• Good Looking Kandidaten
• Going Out Kandidaten
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
• Gute Beziehungsfähigkeiten
• Fähig, die deutschen, schweizerischen, österreichischen Kunden zu verstehen,
• Jeder Grad ist in Ordnung (nicht nur Gastfreundschaft) aber es sollte die Hochschulbildung sein
• Gutes Englisch und natürlich Deutsch
• Der Kandidat ist, im Idealfall mehr als 20

Kann mit den verschiedenen Abteilungen in und außerhalb des Hotels kommunizieren:

1. Guest Relations Offiziere
2. Hausmeister / Hausmeisterin
3. F & B Abteilung
4. Rooms Division
5. Reiseveranstalter
6. Weitere externe Parteien auf der Insel

Was wichtig ist, ist, dass der Kandidat nicht nur weiß, wie man mit den Gästen in Deutsch und Englisch kommuniziert. Genauso wichtig, wäre es, dass er oder sie an die betroffenen Parteien beziehen kann, wie oben beschrieben, intern oder extern, in der Lage Probleme / Fragen schnell zu lösen.
